In a conversation with a good friend recently, I mentioned how beautiful the skies have been this summer. She quickly responded, “or maybe you’re in a better place (spiritually) and you’re able to appreciate it more”.
I thought that was a really insightful thought. To me it makes a ton of sense. One of the first things I noticed when I first accepted Christ was the beauty of the sky. Whether it be a colorful sunset or sunrise, or an oncoming storm, I find the sky one of God’s most beautiful creations.
The photos that I posted above are all from this summer. This summer has been a wild ride. From being broken to falling in love with God once again.
